Environmentalists to Boycott 36 Banks Linked to North Dakota Pipeline

By: Free World Economic Report

The anti-Trump movement is in full swing. A movement called #defundDAPL wants to influence people to close their accounts at DAPL- linked banks. Left- centric cities like New York, San Francisco and Seattle are organizing movements and events to shut down funding of the pipeline.

Ever since President Donald Trump brought this project back to life earlier this year, there has been a lot of anger. Environmental activists and the Standing Rock Sioux Nation have argued that it will cause fracking and contaminate the local water supply.

Many will defend the pipeline as a far safer method to transport oi, than by rail, which has resulted in some dangerous accidents and derailments under Obama’s administration, by refusing to let the pipeline go forward. Go figure.

Below the surface this is just another smear campaign by the liberals to discredit Donald Trump. They smell blood since last nights failure to repeal Obamacare. There are more interested in derailing whatever Trump does than the billions the US will benefit from this project.

Even though anti-DAPL is trying to convince everyone to bank somewhere else, they don’t have the support from wall street or the big banks to make any serious progress here.

Maybe George Soros can help here?
